Ennerdale Engineering/Ennerdale Racing was founded by David O.Saville Peck AMIMech.E in the UK in 1965. Service and restoration was carried out at the Northgate main premises in Canterbury.A series of Sports Racing and single seater cars were built and campaigned around the UK with considerable results from the Racing division located at seperate premises in Cobden Place, Canterbury.

After immigrating to Canada in 1972 , David opened his company, Ennerdale Engineering Ltd. in Duncan on Vancouver Island, becoming the Island Distributor for Lotus in 1976. The British Leyland/SAAB franchise was added in 1977 together with an authorised repair agency for BMW, VOLVO and Mercedes Benz. Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley,Ferrari, Rolls Royce were also catered to together with all other Classic English and European cars.

In 1980 Ennerdale Enigeering moved to Chemainus, also on Vancouver Island, where it remains to this day.

Today, Ennerdale Engineering is also the home of Super 7 cars Inc, Canada's only Factory Authorized Caterham Manufacturer, offering a unique range of Caterham Super 7s for the Canadian market and also Ennerdale Autostables, offering maintained secure storage for your horsepower!
